Including the very first Saiyan saga where Goku and co fought Raditz to the all-time classic Cell Games saga. A special feature included in this game is the alternate universe, which is one of the reasons for its popularity. They did not ignore the importance of a good story mode and that is why it’s very unique. See and experience moments that were not in the original anime and manga through the alternative universe.
Destroy your opponents in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast with destructible terrains by smashing them through buildings and mountains. When executed well this can certainly turn the tide of any battle. Don’t forget to use the most devastating attacks such as Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb. Thanks to the graphics improvements those attacks look so much cooler and perform a lot smoother.
Characters now have facial expressions which is a new feature for DBZ video games. When you take damage your characters clothing get torn and bruises and scratches appear on their body. The battling in the game is very reminiscent of the anime series/manga. The sound effects were not forgotten either as each punch, kick or attack has very distinct sounds. A cracking soundtrack added to the game, for battles or just scrolling through the menus was a very nice touch.
Dragon Ball: Raging Blast is perfect for fans of the series, tonnes of characters and a familiar story told well. Something that fans and critics will agree is this games ability to let us enjoy reliving the story once more.
