The highly awaited release of a second Dragon Ball Z video game on the Nintendo Wii and it is of course awesome. As a matter of fact, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is seen as possibly the best DBZ game ever. It’s a good thing they changed the name from the Japanese release, otherwise it’d been called Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Meteor. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi was not released on the Nintendo Wii but 2 and 3 were. The third installment from the Budokai Tenkaichi series it delivers major upgrades compared to its two predecessors. As a result it includes many many cool features. All originating from the Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT series’ and the Dragon Ball Z movies. That is a lot packed into one game.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 boasts an astonishing amount of over 150 playable characters, including 15 new characters. The staggeringly high number of characters available is the largest from any fight game and not just DBZ ones. The stages reflect this too as the battling environments included are from across all the series’ and movies. They’ve included 20 stages of interactive environments for you to choose from and hopefully become victorious. It makes each and every fight unique, with a crazy amount of characters and stage combinations.
10 game modes including Dragon History, Neo Ultimate Battle and more are available on Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Giving players endless replay value, it makes putting the controllers down very hard work.
The biggest new feature is the amazing online gameplay, now you can really put your skills to the test. Fight against your friends and other Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 players from around the world. Fight them in 1 vs. 1 combat or even team battles. Compared to the video games series’ previous instalments, it takes the whole DBZ experience to a new level.
