The first release of a Dragon Ball Z video game on the Nintendo DS and it is amazingly fun! Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 uses the power of the most loved handheld console of its time. It uses the 3D polygon effects to enhance the graphics to give you that anime feel. Coupled with the dual screen functionality it makes for a very awesome game.
This game has a tonne of content for you to discover, packed to the rim is an understatement. With newcharacters, original moves, massively powered up team battles and an expanded story mode, is something to behold. Recreating an anime classic, the bottom screen turns into a scouter. So you can view your opponent like how Vegeta, Nappa and even Raditz had done. Do not worry, power levels won’t break your game or console like the scouters used to. This is just one of a number of cool features.
The developers had worked on an enhanced battling system that flows and it does so very well. They have created the ultimate evolution of the flying battle. The Z battle mode in Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 is a very unique feature. Choose a team of 3 and battle it out against various enemy teams in a tournament like challenge. We won’t spoil the surprise but you do receive a cool reward when you complete it for the first time. The story mode also includes some new original story arcs too, with multiple ‘What if?’ scenarios. There is a reason this game did so well in its original release in Japan, fans and critics both complementary.
There is still a lot more crammed into this one game though, with hidden content for you to unlock. Wireless multiplayer modes are available for you to fight your friends in Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2.
