Relive the great Dragon Ball Z Budokai games 1 and 3 in the new remastered HD version. A couple of the most popular games ever released from the franchise it was a stroke of genius. A true masterclass in re-rendering to HD and not the casual lazy remasters you will find from other games. Both games now contain full achievement and trophy support for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. If you are new to the series then you are in for a treat.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai
The first game included in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai HD Collection is the original DBZ: Budokai. It includes the authentic Japanese voice-over cast and follows the DBZ sagas up to the Android saga. With 23 of the best and coolest playable characters from its time, it rightfully excited fans. Each Z warrior has an arsenal of 60 moves per character and for some that includes that epic Kamehameha attack.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3
You would be wrong in thinking the second game in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai HD Collection is DBZ: Budokai 2. There is no real reason why Budokai 2 was not included and it doesn’t look like we will find out. That did not stop tonnes of people from speculating so there are theories floating around online. Anyway, this game includes a whole heap of characters, over 40 of them. Characters included are from across all the series’ and some movies too. So pick fighters from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Zand Dragon Ball GT. The latter includes the amazing trio of characters Goku, Vegeta and Gogeta in Super Saiyan 4 form! A new and improved battling system adds speed, power and combos to already intense fights giving it that cinematic feel.
